BROOKLYNITE: THE YEAR AHEAD

It's been awhile since our last post so we wanted to get you up to speed about what's going here at BROOKLYNITE. Lots in store for 2010 including a great crop of artists from around the globe ready to grace the walls inside and outside (of course) of the gallery.

Our first show of the year, STEALTH: ARTISTS ABOVE THE RADAR, will feature two talented artists we feel deserve a bit more attention paid to them. Dutch painter, Collin Van Der Sluijs and Derek Shumate from Houston, Texas.

We've offered up our gallery walls as a soapbox for these two under-exposed artists from different ends of the world, both of who use their canvases much like mental filing cabinets to store information full of free expression and socio-political views.

NEXT UP:
We are happy to announce an exciting line-up of international artists, ALL with varying styles, NONE leaving something to be desired. We have secured some large outdoor locations for alot of these artists as well ---to do what they do best.

ALSO:
Our exhibition "GO GET YOUR SHINEBOX" which featured 100 artists
and their take on surviving in this economy, will be made into a book.

Look for the release sometime early this year with a launch party in the UK.

FINALLY:
Check out our SHOP section from time to time as we'll be releasing new work from a diverse group of artists. M-CITY among others planning on releasing a series of prints with us.
